This was recorded in 2013 if I remember it correctly, my second year of playing electric guitar. I was in my college dormitory, sophomore year. It was Mother’s day so I was thinking why not recording something for my mom. Basically my first ever guitar cover, did it with a <$100 used Squire Strat and Zoom S2T(Worst Audio interface ever. Zoom said the pre-amp tube inside the case adds “tube dynamics” to the tone, they even have a dedicated knob to adjust how much “tube dynamics” you want to add. Several years later I opened the case and found the tube is not connected to any circuit, there are two red LEDs glowing under the tube. From then I swore I’ll never buy anything from Zoom!). You can tell my playing was rusty and all that, but I was having lots of fun at that time so whatever. Miss those old days.
